Day 1st - Are We There Yet???

Truth be told, the total distance traveled together with good buddy Eric Lund throughout our stay was just over 10,000 km. – or about 6300 miles - not including the return trip, which would have brought the overall total to something north of 20,000 km.

All too often we don’t take the time to try and see the humour in things, and make no mistake, if you look hard enough, most everything does have a humorous side – including Steelhead fishing.

 While the sport of fly fishing has become somewhat demystified over the years, many continue to see it as a way to catch fish, that is best left to those who have an unhealthy fascination with insects and bugs, and likely live in their parents basement.

There are stretches on several rivers in South/Western Ontario that create the illusion of being in a remote, pristine wilderness setting despite the fact they run directly through or are adjacent to large urban centres.
